ARS Gold Medal Award

The American Radium Society (ARS) Gold Medal will be awarded to a member as an acknowledgement of their contributions to oncology and their service to ARS.


We will entertain nominations for the Gold Medal to be presented at the 2021 Annual Meeting in Maui, HI.



  1. Any member of the ARS may nominate a Gold Medalist who also must be a living ARS member.
  2. The nominee's professional contributions may be in teaching, basic research, clinical investigation or professional statesmanship, and must include outstanding efforts in service to the ARS.
  3. Recipients may be drawn from any of the disciplines reflected in the membership of the ARS.
  4. The Gold Medal need not be awarded every year.

Nomination Process:

  1. Please complete the form below. 
  2. A letter of nomination from an Active Member with the nominee’s curriculum vitae and letters of support from two additional Active Members must be submitted. Letters of nomination and support must include detailed information that will document the individual’s contributions to the advancement of oncology and to the ARS.
